Donten ni Warau Review

In the eleventh year of the Meiji era, carrying swords was forbidden by the government and those known as samurai were slowly fading away. However, there were plenty who didn't like those changes taking place in Japan and inevitably the crime rates increased. The country's only solution was an inescapable lake prison. Since the prison had no other way to access it except by water, the three boys of the Kumo family were assigned to transport the criminals to their new "home". Although is that the only thing they were doing?

This is by far, the number one anime I am excited for this upcoming fall. I adore all of the Kumo family, and my fav brother has to be Soramaru. Plus, isn't Chuutarou the cutest little brother in an action anime/manga ever!? Aside from the brothers, my most favorite character has to be Naoto. He just has the best villian teeth in the world!!!! Like I said before, I very excited for this to be animated and to see how they will stretch this out.

Madan no Ou to Vanadis Review

Set in Western Europe during times of war, Eleanor "Ellen" Vertalia, one of the Vandis of Zhcted, leads the battle into Brune There are, in fact, seven Vandis, named for having each received a powerful weapon from the dragon to individually reign over seven territories. The power of the Vanadis invokes dread and fear from their enemies. An earl in the service of the country of Brune, a young archer by the name of Tigre, experienced the Vandis's power firsthand after being defeated on the battlefield by Ellen. However, Ellen chose to spare his life after witnessing his skills, but in exchange, he is asked to serve her.

I am really interested in this anime at the moment. I heard it's suppossed to be a harem and ecchi series, but honestly, I think it would be a great anime WITHOUT the harem and ecchi involved. I mean, is it really necessary to have a harem for it to be a good anime? Heck, it sounds so interesting, that I wouldn't mind if their were no males involved at all. The wallpaper I have put up for this isn't the actual animation, cause the real animation is supposed to be very similar to Samurai Girls. And I really enjoyed the animation of it. It is also being made by Satelight, who also did Log Horizon, so the series is promising. I really hope the harem and ecchi factor doesn't get in the way of the plot.

Bonjour Koiaji Patisserie Review

The original story follows Sayuri Haruno, a girl who attends an elite confectionary school Fleurir on a scholarship to follow her dream of opening a pastry shop. There she meets several charming young men.

OHHHHH!!!! Another reverse harem!!!! This was actually an adaption of a game, which I have not played, and is going to be a ONA series. And that means it's going to be a slow moving anime, but who cares, it's a reverse harem!! This actually kind of reminds of Yumerio Patisserie, and I loved that anime. So it's going to be exciting to see another baking anime. The graphics look as cute as can be, and I see we have one of my very loved shota boy here (the blonde one)!!! If you can't already tell, I'd say I am soooo excited for this ONA to come out. Let's just hope it's as good as it looks.

Grilfriend (Kari) Review

This is an anime adaption of the mobile game, where the main character has a girlfriend.

Okay, so I guess this is one of those animes where they have arcs in which in each arc he hasn't a different girl for a girlfriend...? Kinda sounds boring and maybe a waste of time, but you gotta give it some credit. I think the only thing about this that interests me is the animation. I guess I'll give it a few episodes and see if it's anything worth watching.

Grisaia no Kajitsu Review

The story is set in an academy that is a cloistered "orchard" for girls to be educated and cultivated away from external influences. Five girls spend their lives within these walls in repentance and atonement. Yuuji Kazami has just enrolled as the sole male student there.
I actually played the visual novel for this game, and oh how I enjoyed it. With that said, hearing that it was going to be animated I was very excited and happy. I really like the plot of the whole story and the characters are very enjoyable in my eyes. I do have high expectations for this anime, though everyone knows well enough that an adaptation of a visual novel can go completely downhill. Especially when there's harem swimming around in there. Though, in this case, I actually enjoyed the harem factor. I mean, if you think about it, when these girls have been shut off from the world with nothing BUT girls, if a male was to step in and he was their age, it's expected for them to fall in love with him. Unless, they're lesbians, but that's not the case in this story. One of my favorite girls would have to be Michiru, cause I'm a sucker for tsunderes!

Trinity Seven Review

Life as Arata Kasuga is wiped out by a bizarre incident known as "Collapse Phenomenon" Which causes worldwide destruction and takes his cousin Hijiri Kasuga to the next world. To resolve "Collapse Phenomenon" and bring Hijiri, Arata enrolls in the Royal Biblia Academy. Waiting in the school are seven beautiful female magic users, the Trinity Seven.
When I first saw this, I was really interested in this. Looking into it, I found out that this is an adaption from a visual novel that is borderline hentai. I have big problem with ecchi series, they just don't sing the right tune with me and in my eyes, they ruin some great action. Looking at pictures of it, you can know almost immediately that it's gonna be a ecchi. Even if it is, since I am still really interested in the plot, I'm gonna give it a few episodes and see how it is. You never know, it may actually be good with ecchi in it.

Gugure! Kokkuri-san Review

The story revolves around a little girl named Kohina. Kohina ends up summoning Kokkuri-san, a low ranking ghost in Japanese folklore. The Kokkuri-san she calls turns out to be a white-haired handsome young man. At first he intended to just simply haunt her, but after he becomes worried about her diet of just cup ramen, he decides to protect her.
So, when I checked out the genres of this anime/manga it said it was a romance. If it is, then it's either a yaoi, or this Kokkuri-san is a pedophile. I'm not sure as I have never seen or read the manga and have no idea how old this little girl is. I'm hoping that she is at least 12 or 13, cause in Japan, it's okay to date a 16 or 17 year old at that age. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. And is it just me, or does Kokkuri-san look a lot like Tomoe?
